Get on one of the Buggies, an all-terrain land vehicles used for excursions, also known as dune buggies or dirt buggies, these vehicles are specially designed to ride on rocky and difficult terrain.
The buggy route starts in Maimon Puerto Plata, just 3 minutes from the cruise port Amber Cove and only 10 minutes from the cruise port Taino Bay.
Crossingsome some dirt roads, the first stop of the tour is a typical authentic dominican house, where you will see how the famous Dominican cigar is made, Dominican coffee and an aphrodisiac drink called mamajuana.
The last stop, before returning to the base, is a beach where you can take a refreshing swim.
Note: The buggies are for 2 people, if you would like to drive alone then you would need to select SINGLE but pay for two people.
