Horseback riding on the beach is one of the most exotic Caribbean Adventures and one of the best things to do in Jamaica. Even for persons who have a phobia of horses do from time to time dare to imagine being on the back of one of these lovely creatures.
Your tour begins at the Sand n' Saddle picturesque private beach. You will receive a safety briefing before setting out on your ride. Your ride will be slow along the trail as most riders are not experienced.
Your guide will point out the variety of local vegetables grown by farmers on the rural trail, which will lead you onto a stretch of white sandy beach, where you will experience the tranquil beauty of the Caribbean Sea.
On arrival at the beach the guides will assist you to dismount your horse so that you can get ready for the swim. Enjoy this once in a Lifetime experience of being on your horse in the sea. When the tide is high your horse will actually swim.
Notes:
- Weight limit 230 lbs (104 kg) per guest.
- Children must be six (6) years of age and up.
- Tour guide gratuity is not included in the cost of the tour and is at your discretion and very much appreciated.
- We don't allow big bags like backpacks on the ride, only a small bag that can go across your shoulder in front of you (nothing bulky), incase you'd like to carry cash and your phone/camera.
TRANSPORTATION
Trasportation is not included on this excursion but can be arranged by the professional local coordinator at an additional cost. The starting point is located in Braco, Trelawny beside the Bamboo Beach Club. If you’re staying at a Hotel they will also have drivers.
