We start off in the morning and head in the direction of the famous Saona island with one of our speed boats. On our way we have a stop at the natural pool to have a swim, take pictures and have a drink or two while observing the starfish.
Afterwards, on our way out of the natural pool we pass by the mangroves and the Catuano channel to continue to Saona Island itself. Our first stop on Saona is the private beach reserved for our groups only.
The beach is equipped with sun beds, a restroom and an open bar. At noon we invite our guests to have a traditional Dominican lunch on the beach (grilled fish, chicken, rice, pasta, vegetables and fruits (lobster optional). Time for bathing in the sun and enjoying the aquamarine waters of the Caribbean.
Next, we drop the anchor at the mesmerizing Canto de la Playa for a drink, one the last remaining wild Caribbean beaches. The waters here are 50 shades of blue. The sand is as fine as flour.
Finally, on our way back we have a second stop in the natural pool with soft drinks, alcoholic beverages and music.
